A peek into illustration and book making.
Picture books are not just about writing a good story, but about creating a story through visual drama and play. This interactive workshop leads participants on a colorful journey of creativity. Students learn about the importance of picture book layout and how imagery affects the words on the page.
30min talk/activity presentation (best suited for a classroom)
Multiple classrooms can be done over one day or multiple days.
$150 for the first classroom and $25 for each additional plus lunch if applicable)
Millage fee if not in the Battle Creek or Kalamazoo area.
Travel expenses (hotel, mileage, meals) if more than 2.5 hours.
